National Aggregates Company

Born from the restructuring of the National Construction Materials Company (SNMC), the National Aggregates Company (ENG) was created by decree no. 86-270 of November 4, 1986, with effect from January 1, 1987. It subsequently gained legal autonomy and adopted the form of a Joint-Stock company.

Activities

ENG’s mission is the production, marketing and development of aggregates, calcium carbonate, marbles and derivatives, as well as pozzolan.

Aggregates:

Operation of nine active quarries

Calcium carbonate:

Operation of an industrial unit dedicated to its production

Marbles and derivatives:

(03) Three block quarries in operation
(01) A processing plant
(03) Three marble derivative production sites

Pozzolan:

An operational production unit

Mining services:

Carrying out overburden removal work at the Ouenza mine.
