The valorization of the iron ore deposit of Gara Djebilet represents a major strategic opportunity for the national mining sector. This deposit, among the most promising on the continent, is a key lever for meeting the growing demand for iron ore, both in the Algerian and international markets.

In parallel, in December 2022, the company launched a Call for Expression of Interest (CEI) aimed at identifying industrial partners interested in developing the deposit, either through processes already studied with foreign partners, or by proposing alternative technological and economic solutions.
